This book is dedicated to the work of the Parisian writer Dize. His ability to draw simple styles and original tags, the diversity in his search for letters and his numerous collaborations in big scenes are reasons to focus on the talented writer. Inevasible and respected by his community, Dize practises both classical and innovative graffiti all at once, keeping the energy and the soul of the 70s pioneers who bombed the New York subway cars. This book details several aspects of his work in 3 parts. The first part, starting from his debut in 1989 to this year, shows his influences and evolution, from his first tags on the school desks to his fresh banging wildstyles. Dize’s important meetings and other events are displayed in full color pictures. The second part is focused on his production since the year 2000. A large and detailed view of his work from the last four years: tags, throw ups, pieces and “work in progress” pictures are commented upon and analysed by Dize and his partners. The last part displays his inside world, sketches, canvases, calligraphic and typographic experiences; a journey through the mind of a writer.
